Just a quick note from Stellenbosch today as there was good news for project 400m. After talking to Kristoff Beyens, the Belgian 200m world semi finalist, I can confirm 2 new opportunites for 4×400m Olympic Qualification.

The Belgian federation is putting 4×400m competitions on May 31st and June 14th (Namur), this gives us good competition with the Belgian team who are in a similar position as the Irish 4×400m team, and hopefully other nations such as Sweden. Project 400m will discuss athletes availability on these dates and confirm intentions on a later date.

The official list of IAAF approved qualification races is due out on the 1st of February.
