A was hatched as long ago as last August when two of the country’s best one-lappers got into conversation after a small meeting in Uden, Holland.

Corkman Brian Murphy and Gordon Kennedy from Offaly were both over 25 and realised in four years the opportunity would have passed them by once and for all.
