A quick post to let you know that we’re going to start doing something with this blog once again. Since 2008 it’s been left pretty idle so we’ll try and do a bit better from here on in.

Considering that a European Championships and a World Indoors has happened without much reporting, I think it’s time we started communicating again. In that time we’ve also had a few of the group retire and we’ve started to see a new crop of athletes come forward to represent Ireland in the 400m.

The main goal will be Olympic qualification in 2012. This challenge cannot be overestimated, but we feel we are a match for it. Over the next 12 months we’ll try to share this journey with you.
