Project 400 is Ireland’s squad of elite 400m athletes.

The idea behind Project 400 is

1. Communicate the 400m event to the Irish Public and create public ownership in our endeavours
2. Improve the performance of the Irish 4*400m relay team and raise individual standards in the event
3. Work in a constructive manner to improve the training and competition opportunities for the Project 400 squad
4. Publicise the athletes involved and athletics as a sport

We are Ireland’s fittest team and we welcome any opportunity to prove it. If you are a professional sports person or Inter-County player, we welcome you to train with us and see what 400m training is like. If you’d like us to train with you, we’ll see what we can do.

We are receptive to any companies or individuals who wish to sponsor or contribute to the squad. We believe that we are an untapped marketing resource and would be positive ambassadors for any sponsor.
